Expert Lecture on "Finance in the Power Sector – Emerging Trends and Career Opportunities"
Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) organized an Expert Lecture on "Finance in the Power Sector – Emerging Trends and Career Opportunities" on 28 July 2026 for the students of the MBA (Finance) programme.
The session was delivered by CA Simardeep Singh, who has over 15 years of professional experience with REC Limited, India's largest NBFC. He shared his perspectives on the evolving power sector financing ecosystem, project appraisal, credit risk management, emerging industry trends, and career opportunities in the financial sector.
The session provided participants with practical insights into infrastructure financing, risk assessment, and the role of financial institutions in supporting India's power sector. Students also had the opportunity to interact with the speaker during the question-and-answer session.
